Spanish? #@&^?

My parents are making me take spanish in 9th grade when i HAVE to take it in 10th. this is so stupid. My mom is a smartass who says i have to take in 9th becuase she wants to me learn it and im lazy for not lerarnig it at home by myself. I told my parents i want to learn japanese but NO, that not acceptable becuase i wont use it. Am i right to just fail the class? What can i do, i CANT be reasonable with them becuase they think im ALWAYS wrong and think that there ALWAYS right.
I get that its easy but i dont want to waste my last year of junoir high doing spanish and then having to take it again in 10th. I have a 4.0 in core classes im not worried about it dropping my gpa cause it doest count.

spanish… :(?

i have a spanish crossword puzzle I have to do for my spanish class. the one i can’t get is [Paint!] there are only 5 spaces in the crossword puzzle and the only translation of paint that i know of is: pintura and that has 2 more letters then the crossword puzzle calls for. Cna you please help me?!?

Summer Study abroad program in Spain for high school graduate?

I will be graduating from high school in may, and will be 18 years of age in may. im trying to look for a summer program in barcelona spain teaching the spanish language. I would perfer it to be a dorm, close to the university. I came upon Global student experience. If you know of it how is it?

Can I attend an American Law School in Spain?

I am finishing my Bachelor’s and am currently in the process of applying for Law School for 2009. I know there are several Law Schools that have programs for studying abroad a semester or two, especifically in Spain, but I was wondering if I can obtain my “American” Law Degree by studying fully in Spain. I appreciate your answers and thanks…
Meaning, can I get my Law Degree from the U.S. attending an American Law School in Spain for the three years.

Summer study abroad programs to Spain for high school students?

I’m a High School Junior.
I’m planning on going to Spain this summer for about a month or so for language immersion, just that alot of the programs are soo expensive! Plus airfare is pretty costly as well.

Does anyone know any good programs that cost from $3,000 – $4,500 that I can go with?
Preferably one that offers dorms (i’d rather not homestay).
Where in spain would be best to stay at, Barcelona or San Sebastion?

EF Tours to Spain.. Good or bad?

I’m going to Spain with EF Tours in 17 days. I’m going with two other students; and one teacher (High School trip). Supposedly, they will group us with other people. I checked a website and it was pretty much hating on EF Tours.

So how about here? Has anybody been on this tour before? Liked it?

I read one review saying their group wasn’t seated near each other on the plane. I will cry. :/

Flying into Malaga (Spain) tomorrow and need a rental car for two weeks, where can I find one thats available?

I can’t find a car cheaper than £200 and I can’t find one that’s available! anyone any help?

program for foreign exchange to Spain after high school?

I am planning on finishing high school and going to Spain on foreign exchange, but as far as I know AFS doesn’t offer Spain after high school and Rotary might not offer it and its never certain with them. help?

Which car rental company rents to 20 year olds in Spain?

I am going to be in Spain in the Summer and Im only 20 and I wish to see where I can rent a car.

Nothing expensive, the only things I wish is decent MPG and a.c.
Anyone know which car rental company rents to 20 yr olds?

Comments about EF Tours, especially to Spain?

I’m going to be taking an EF Tour to Spain. I was wondering, do they put you in good hotels? Do they book with major airlines?
